Biography

Matthias Reihmann studied Chemistry at the University of Mainz, Germany and at the University of Kyoto, Japan. He wrote his PhD thesis on enzymatic polymerization in 2002 followed by a Postdoc position on new types of liquid crystals at the University of Pisa, Italy. He joined GELITA, the leading company for manufacturing of collagen proteins in 2008. For 10 years he was Global Product Manager for GELITA´s photographic and technical product portfolio. Since January 2022 he is Head of Global Sales Industry Applications and Head of Customer Management EMEIA at the business unit Performance Solutions of GELITA AG.
