Joana Pereira, a bioprocess engineer, specialized in waste fermentation at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship, she co-founded a start-up supported by EIT Climate-KIC, focusing on integrated aquaponic production of seafood and microalgae. Believing that innovation and cutting-edge biotechnology are key to addressing global sustainability challenges, Joana joined Holiferm as Commercial Manager to help transform the chemical industry.
