Synopsis

Achieving long-lasting fragrance performance in consumer products requires an integrated understanding of deposition, controlled release, and olfactive evolution. This presentation introduces a combinatorial approach to multi-dimensional perfume long lastingness, leveraging the synergy between Planetcaps S, a biodegradable core–shell encapsulation technology, Scentaurus fragrance precursors, and Givaudan’s proprietary captives and specialties. Through this multi-technology platform, fragrance longevity is enhanced via complementary mechanisms — encapsulated deposition and triggered release (Planetcaps S), in-use molecular regeneration (Scentaurus), and the intrinsic substantivity and diffusion properties of selected Givaudan captives. Together, these components create a dynamic and sustained olfactive profile across fabric care, home care, and personal care applications. Performance evaluations demonstrate extended fragrance perception, improved consumer sensory experience, and environmental compatibility. This combinatorial strategy represents a scientifically advanced and sustainable fragrance delivery system, bridging chemistry, material science, and perfumery design to deliver next-generation long-lastingness.
