Sustainability runs through every stage of the value chain, and technology—the means by which chemical products and surfactants are manufactured—represents one of the key levers for developing safer and more sustainable solutions. This presentation introduces the latest technologies developed by Ballestra to achieve these objectives and make them widely accessible. These include technologies in the production of sugar-based surfactants (APGs), scrubber systems capable of generating value-added effluents, and advanced processes designed to minimize micro-contaminants such as dioxane and sultones.
